Nurse

Abbey R

Meet Abbey R

Abbey is one of our incredible junior nurses, and her dedication to animals has been clear since the age of 16 when she first began her studies in Animal Care. With a strong background in retail and customer service, she brings warmth and energy to every client and patient interaction.

A proud Wodonga local, Abbey completed Year 12 locally before going on to study her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, while employed as a trainee at MRAH, further building her skills in the field she loves.

Why We Love Abbey R

Abbey is one our longest-standing nurses and the calm in the chaos. She’s rock-solid, adaptable, and brings heart to everything she does. Whether she’s supporting new staff, navigating system changes, or chatting with clients ,Abbey leads by example—always steady, always kind. Reliable, loyal, and full of quiet strength, she’s one of the key reasons our clinic runs like it does (and keeps smiling while it does!).

Qualifications/Specialties

  • Certified Stress-Free Professional
  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing

Outside Of Work

In 2018, Abbey travelled to Cambodia to volunteer in local villages and schools — a reflection of her deeply caring, kind, and generous nature.

Like many of us, she’s surrounded by a furry (and hooved!) family at home. Her animal tribe includes her two cats, Missy and Megs, and her beloved horse Spanner.

Outside of work, Abbey loves getting outdoors — whether it’s camping, horse riding, or recharging at the gym.
