Jen

Meet Jen

Jen is one of our dedicated senior veterinary nurses. She has a calm nature, a sharp mind, and a love for all things surgical.

Her journey into the animal care world began at a local veterinary clinic in 2019, where she started out as a work placement student. From there, she completed her Certificate III in Animal Studies and Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.

Funny enough, Jen once thought she wouldn’t cope with the gore — now it’s her favourite part of the job! Her technical strengths lie in surgical nursing and patient care, where she thrives under pressure and takes pride in supporting animals through every step of their recovery. In her spare time, Jen loves to attend live concerts, read books, and watch Formula One.

She joined the team at Murray River Animal Hospital in early 2024 and hasn’t stopped growing, learning, and contributing since.
