Meet Lou
Lou is our brilliant Veterinary Technician / Nurse. With a life long passion for animals, having grown up on a farm in Yarrawonga, from an early age, she knew a career in animal care was on the cards — and she's been charging ahead ever since!
Lou began her veterinary journey in 2019 as a kennel hand and trainee at the River Country Animal Emergency Centre. She soon progressed into a receptionist and trainee nursing role at a local clinic before becoming a much-loved part of the team here at MRAH. Her dedication, care, and curiosity shine through in everything she does.

Lou is the calm in the storm—steady, thoughtful, and always ready to lend a hand. She brings emotional smarts, quiet confidence, and a whole lot of heart to every shift. Whether she’s guiding junior staff, pitching in without being asked, or keeping cool under pressure, Lou leads with kindness and keeps our culture strong. Dependable, respectful, and quietly brilliant—we’re so lucky to have her.

· Certificate II in Animal Studies
· Certificate III in Companion Animal Services
· Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
· Bachelor of Veterinary Technology
· Certified Stress-Free Professional
Outside of work
At home, Lou loves relaxing with her beloved Cocker Spaniel, Merlin, and her feisty British Shorthair cat, Coraline.
