Netty is one of our experienced Emergency Critical Care clinicians. She has worked many roles in the industry over the years both locally and nationally.

Janette completed her BVSc in 1998 and her BAnSc in 1996, both at The University of Melbourne. She is currently studying to complete a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Creative Writing.

Netty works as a consultant vet for MRAH, coming in to perform echocardiograms, to help us out with tricky emergency and critical care cases, and without after hours roster.

Netty is a part of many volunteer and leadership organizations, including the Australian Greens Victoria and NSW Greens Albury Local group. She is a member of campaign committees at local, state and federal government levels. She is a member of Sentient “The Veterinary Institute for Animal Ethics”; the Australian Conservation Foundation; People with Disability Australia; and several LGBTQIA+ groups.

She has completed a lot during her career but Netty is most proud of setting up the Southeastern Animal Emergency Centre (SEAEC) designing the floorplan, mentoring new grads, designing vet tutorials and running evening seminars for vets.

Netty loves music, sci-fi, wildlife photography, gardening, cycling and swimming. She lives with her grumpy, fat, old cat, Moo and is engaged to a wonderful woman who lives in Stafford UK, who she plans to grow old with.
