Dr Sarah Duncan - Veterinarian_edited.jpg

Sarah is one of our senior associate Veterinarians here at MRAH. After graduating from Charles Sturt University in Wagga with a double degree in Veterinary Biology/Veterinary Science in 2016, she moved back to the area to be close to family and to help on her family’s beef cattle farm. Since graduating, Sarah has worked exclusively in small animal practice, completing short courses in small animal abdominal ultrasound and endocrine emergencies.

Ever since she was a little girl, she has always had a passion for helping animals, and believes all owners should be given available treatment options for their pets, and that all pets should be treated like family!

Sarah is a great team player and leader, who takes pride in her work and organizational skills. She particularly enjoys the challenge of correcting problems with soft tissue surgery. She is also driven to improve the quality of life of our more senior patients. Her abilities in cytology and ultrasound are a great asset to MRAH.

When she is not at MRAH, Sarah may well be doing some veterinary on her parents’ property where she helps with calvings and general cattle work. work , She loves spending time on the farm with her husband and 2 kids, for fun too, riding motorbikes and swimming. She also enjoys archery, playing the piano, yoga, and of course spending time with her fur babies, Squirt the 12yo JRT and Nina her 7yo rescue tortoiseshell cat.
